Bordallo Pinheiro designed the cabbage leaf ceramic tableware in 1884. He encountered an immediate success; since then the collection established itself as an example of 19th century Portuguese cultural heritage. Hence with these plates you are bringing a famous piece of art to your table!

The cabbage leaf dishes are still cast in traditional moulds and are glazed following every vein of the leaf. In close collaboration with Bordallo’s workshop, VAN VERRE developed a new line of bowls and plates. The traditional green collection can be endlessly combined with the extensive range of other beautiful colours.
