So, if you don’t mind, I’m going to try to pretend the world is (kind of) back to normal and as such I’m going to tell you about a couple of new brands we’ve got for you, and to address the imminent onslaught of Autumn!
The two new brands I’d like to introduce you to I’ve wanted for a long time but, for one reason or another, I’ve not been able to get them, until now…..
Abigail Ahern, now available at No64 Biscuit House!
In recent years Abigail Ahern has become one of my idols. She’s a British designer I really admire, she has an enchanting take on interiors and has basically redefined the visual landscape with her unique style and bold approach.
Abigail is an influential tastemaker and, with her unique style and bold approach, her trendsetting designs have become synonymous with glamour, eclecticism and wit.
I’m therefore delighted to tell you that little old No64 Biscuit House have been accepted as a UK stockist of her brand, Abigail Ahern, which was only launched in 2015, and I’ve started with a small selection of fabulous products she’s designed that I absolutely love.....gorgeously fun sculptures!

Abigail’s faux flowers and plants range are already world famous and the rest of her collection is a definitive statement of Abigail’s inimitable style, as I hope you’ll see and agree.
Her full range includes furniture & lighting, accessories, textiles, art and sculpture, and her sculpture range is fabulous! Hurry though as everyone I've so far shown a sculpture to has bought one!
J-Line by JOLIPA, available in-store and online at No64 Biscuit House
J-Line is a Belgian interiors and decoration brand, which feels a little strange as our brands have always been Scandinavian but hold the back page, J-Line are our second Belgian brand – change is afoot in my style, maybe…..
J-Line have been around for a while, since 1978 in fact, but I do like a brand with a story close to my heart. It was formed by two sisters, Liliane and Chris, together with their partners which means it’s a family company free to follow their own tastes, intuition and feelings.
Something, I like to think, is what we are and do, although on a slightly smaller scale I might add!
They’re a fabulously successful brand now, worldwide, and I hope you like the products we’ve selected for you; my current favourites of which being their 'Boat & 6 Rowers' ornament, so cool, and their 'Cyclist Abstract' ornaments, also very funky and cool!
Right, on to the change in weather and the onslaught of Winter......
Autumn, it’s almost upon us, which means it’s time to get cosy!
For me Autumn, and then Winter of course, means cosy nights in front of the (Le Feu) fire, luxurious sheepskin slippers and pelts, and some new super-cosy bedding!

Le Feu, Shepherd of Sweden or Vivaraise, take your pick....

So, not only does the Le Feu require no installation (it doesn’t need a chimney or ventilation), it looks amazing (it's Danish for goodness sake!), it’s portable, and it runs on biofuel, which crucially means it’s environmentally friendly, so important this day and age.
If you would like a Le feu demonstration please ask when you visit us at our Milford shop, we can often do one there and then but if not we can make an appointment for you. We have one in-house we show people, but you’ll appreciate if we’re not both here we can’t leave the shop unattended.
We’ve also just received an order of Shepherd of Sweden sheepskins, as all of a sudden we’ve had a rush on them and we almost ran out completely, plus we have a gorgeous range of Shepherd slippers for you to try in readiness for you needing them!
And lastly, from my list of must-have stuff for the change in season, is a new set of luxurious bedding and this means you simply have to try out our Vivaraise brand, it’s just divine! A touchy, feely kind of brand, a once bitten kind of thing......if you know what I mean?
That's it again for another month, I can’t believe it’s September already, but then again maybe I can! I know it’s been an awful year but what I don’t want to do is wish my life away, and so I’m not going to be one of those people who says they can’t wait to see the back of 2020 I’m afraid.
