So February was no less than chaotic than any other month at chez-Biscuit House. We're having a new roof, we have a beautiful new linen brand to tell you about from Sweden, we have 2 brand new colours from Annie Sloan, and we're featured in Ideal Home magazine!!

No64 Biscuit House – 2 years old!

Can you believe it's 2 years since we first opened our doors to you, our lovely customers?!

Well it is, or rather was, on February 24th but we've been so busy it almost passed us by.

So busy with what I hear you cry??

Well if you've visited us, or the village, in the last couple of weeks you'll have noticed the front of our building is scaffolded, this is because we're having a new roof put on, hence the picture. I might add that we are open as usual, just in case you wondered.

Sadly we also lost one of our main suppliers. We were having such issues with their UK agent, honestly you wouldn't believe how useless she was, and we just decided enough was enough and so we closed our account. The rest is now history and to be honest, now it's over, I'm really glad as I've found a couple of replacements and I'm over the moon with them!

But where on earth did those 2 years go?? Needless to say it's all down to you, our wonderful customers, that we've made is this far, and so thank you all so much and Happy Birthday to us!

Ideal Home – April 2019 issue, out now!

So some HUGE No64 news to start with, we're featured in this month's 'Ideal Home' magazine!! It's the April issue, incase the March issue is still on the shelves too.

We're so delighted to be featured in one of, in my opinion, the UK's most iconic interiors magazines. And I'm suggesting you grab yourself an issue as the article, starting on page 44, is 11 pages long!!

It's got loads of great pictures of our home and shop, it tells our story (Glenn & I), and it's just fantastic.......I think you can probably tell how excited I am and honoured I feel!

No64 welcomes Swedish brand Lovely Linen

We were approached by our wonderful UK agent for Shepherd of Sweden, they had taken on a new brand they said they were certain I'd absolutely love, and they were right.

They're called Lovely Linen, they're Swedish, and I met up with them recently at Spring Fair in Birmingham.

The linen comes in 3 different textures and many beautiful colours and shades, and so to get us started I ordered Avocado, Dark Grey and White Mist.

I also ordered the most amazing throw, I've nicked one already so don't tell Glenn!

And finally I ordered 3 colours in 3 different sizes of their Kimonos, which are a wonderful...

I'm also told that Linen improves with age...I want to be Linen!

Pictured here, as a little tempter for you, are their 'Misty Napkins' which are made from 100% Linen and available is 6 beautiful colours. They're gorgeous. 

We've just received our first Lovely Linen order and I'm putting it out now, why not come and see for yourself?

Annie Sloan – New Chalk Paint colours available from No64 Biscuit House now

Also just in we have some brand new Annie Sloan Chalk Paint colours, and I quite like the way Annie's featured them below, on the left is Svenska Blue and the right, meet Chicago Grey.
 

Annie describes these 2 new colours as follows:

"Svenska Blue is a crisp and cool toned blue-grey, evocative of the colours seen throughout Swedish manor houses in the 17th and 18th Century.

And Chicago Grey is a cool, fresh and modern grey, with a hint of blue. Suggestive of the architecture in Chicago. A perfect neutral for industrial interiors, or muted Scandinavian styling."

They've already been extremely popular, so much so in fact that we were getting requests for them before we even received our first order from Annie Sloan HQ.

We have plenty of both in stock for you, in sample pot and 1 Litre sizes, so come and check them out. 

Finally, March has already started at 100 mph for us, hence this Blog being later than I would have liked, and next month has another birthday to mention, another 2 birthdays in fact as Glenn & I are both the big 5 0 in April!! OMG......NO!
