No64 March Blog
29 March 2018
Happy Easter everyone! I can't believe it's spring already, it only seems like yesterday the shop was packed with Christmas shoppers, we've certainly had some Christmas weather since then.....hopefully everyone survived the snow and ice recently!
So what news from No64 HQ this month, and for April.....
Annie Sloan Workshops are finally here @ No64 Biscuit House!
For all of you Annie Sloan Chalk Paint fans out there, and there are definitely lots of you, we're delighted to announce that No64 will, in April, run our first in-house workshop!
Most of you will now know about us asking for your interest & availability via our Facebook page, which I hope you follow, and also our mailing list.
If not then as part of our training for delivering these workshops we will have an experienced Annie Sloan Workshop tutor deliver the session for us and we will be observing and learning.
You, if you'd like to attend the first one, will get it for half the normal price as you'll, kind of, be our guinea pigs :)
The workshop will run for 3 hours and afterwards, as well as during, you'll have the opportunity to ask as many questions as you like.
At this stage we're asking for anyone interested in attending the first workshop in order that we can agree a date and time for it. We've already had plenty of responses and so do please get back to us as soon as you can as we'd like to set the date.
We're aiming for a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday and depending on your responses we'll choose a time i.e. 10am-1pm, midday-3pm, 1pm-4pm, etc.
We'd like to name the date/time and invite attendees by April 5th, a week from today, with a view to the course taking place mid-late April.
We hope you'd like to join us and, of course, don't disappointed if you can't make the first one as there will be plenty more.
By the way if you're not yet on our mailing list and would like to be then please just CLICK HERE or email [email protected] and we'll add you – especially if you are a potential Annie Sloan Workshop candidate as we'll be putting a schedule of future dates out soon!
Lene Bjerre - Exclusive 'Online Only' Garden Furniture
The stunning, handmade 'Mandisa' Bamboo outdoor furniture by Lene Bjerre
At No64 we strive to provide you with unique homewares and furniture from Scandinavia and, as we approach Summer, our attention has naturally turned to the great outdoors.
When we saw this year's handmade Bamboo 'Mandisa' bamboo furniture range from No64 favourite supplier Lene Bjerre we loved it, it's simply stunning.
BUT before you rush down to us to see it here's the bad news........unfortunately we don't have the room to physically stock it in-store, we're only little!
So, working in conjunction with Lene Bjerre themselves, we've set up a special 'drop shipping' service. This means you order via us and they ship the products directly to you on our behalf.
You can come into our shop and go through the catalogue/website with us and we'll place your order for you there and then, or you can order online via the special Handmade Bamboo Garden Furniture direct from Scandinavia section on our website..
Providing the items you order are in stock they've promised us delivery between 5 & 7 days. The prices on our website, which you can browse by CLICKING HERE, are freight free over £75.00 too which we think is really good if you consider it's coming direct from Denmark.
I think you'll agree this range is stunning and so if you want something a little different this Summer look no further than Mandisa, by Lene Bjerre.
Fantastic (secret) new range from Denmark arriving any day!
We recently posted a couple of images on Instagram of some beautiful leather bags and satchels and received huge interest in them. They're made to order and due any day now and so watch out for details of who our amazing new supplier is (they're very new and we'll be one of the first in the UK to stock them), and when they arrive!
If you missed the image here it is.....which one's your favourite:
Also in this range there's furniture, lighting and a stunning range of cushions & pouffes made from recycled denim badges!
All I'll say is "you have a choice in being part of a sustainable universe. Choose your furniture carefully, give your home more edge with your individual choice". Actually it was Anders, the owner/designer of this wonderful new brand that said that, I like it though! :)
We often post new suppliers and products on Instagram and so if you don't follow us just click on, or go to @No64BH on Instagram.
I'd better leave it there for now. All that's left for me to say, as always, is thanks for reading and for supporting us, and have a great Easter everyone!
Lots of love,
