Bordered on one side by the New Forest and the other side by Christchurch Harbour, Milford-on-Sea is one of the last remaining seaside villages in Hampshire, it's simply beautiful! The village is perched on the cliff-tops with stunning sea views of The Needles, Hurst Castle and of course the majestic Isle of Wight.

With a wonderful selection of restaurants, shops, bars, together with some wonderful boutique B&B's, hotels, camping & caravan sites, and self catering cottages. We're not short of events either, often hosted on our delightful village green, such as our annual Music & Arts festival, the May Day festival, Milford food week, and the Milford carnival.

A great source of information about our wonderful village can be found on our very own site, written by one of our dedicated villagers, where you can find a 'What's On' diary, a constantly updating 'News' section, and a section dedicated to 'What To See & To Do' in Milford on Sea, Lymington, and the New Forest in general. Please check it out, it's your local bible!

In no particular order here are a few places we would like to mention, like us these places are hard working & independent businesses and we highly recommend a visit:

The Wash House -

So-called as it used to be the village laundry The Wash House is an independently owned micro bar serving an ever-changing list of locally produced ales. They've teamed up with Lymington's Solent Cellar from whom they stock a great selection of Gins, ciders, wines and organic soft drinks. A great atmosphere is guaranteed from Duncan and his team, we say: well worth a visit!

La Perle -

Right next door to No64 Biscuit House you'll find La Perle, owned and run by Raymond Blanc trained, Professional Masterchef contestant Chef Sam Hughes. Sam prides himself on local produce, including fabulous seafood, and runs great weekly events including Steak Night, Lobster Night, and French Tuesdays (with optional wine tasting).

Hurst on the Hill -

Run by Chef Jesse Wells Hurst On The Hill offers modern, fresh, seasonal food to sit in or take out. Enjoy café style coffee, pastries and cakes, or at lunchtime your favourite sandwich can be made up for you, just the way you like it. And look out for their fabulous 'Pop Up Evenings' where you can truly sample Jesse's sublime cookery skills!

Raft Rocks -

If you want great food in a great atmosphere, with stunning views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight and The Needles, look no further than The Raft on The Rocks. Whether you're after breakfast, lunch or an evening meal owner Deny will make your visit a memorable one.

The Bay Trees B&B -

There are lots of places to stay in and around Milford but if you ask "what's the best B&B locally?" 9 times out of 10 you'll be told "The Bay Trees". It's award winning, it's located in the centre of the village, and it's a beautifully restored 17th Century Grade II listed house run by Mark & Sarah....and the breakfast is divine!

Tu Sei Bella -

We need a little TLC every now and again and just 10 seconds from our door we can get a full body massage, a luxury manicure, a facial, waxing and much more. The girls are great there, but it's a uni-sex boutique so men too, and we recommend a visit.

Sailing Spook -

If you want a great day on the water, sailing, then Andy & Russ at Sailing Sppok are your first stop. You can even charter for over-night trips, and we promise Andy's salty sea dog tales will top off your great day of exhilarating sailing!

The Cave (Independent Wine Shop & Bar) -

After a hard day at the office a cheeky glass of wine or one of their magnificent G&T's from their huge Gin range hits the spot. The service is exemplary, as is the ambience: well worth a visit if you've time to kill – oh & they also do great Tapas & sharing plates!
